Our Programs

We have been enjoying the support of many individuals since 1991 providing assistance to many needy individuals and outstanding non-profits in many parts of the Philippines. We are very proud that we have rescued many American Youth left behind  in the Philippines and provided them a very warm and comfortable home in  Sacramento, CA. Today, they are enjoying lives in the USA with their new families and are living  independently!

In our effort to help promote responsible charity we recently adopted a new name that is very identical to our new programs and services;  (PEP) Philippine Empowerment for the Poor. 

While we are very proud of the programs we have provided in the past which included the following;  FEEDING,  FREE EDUCATION, CLOTHING, FUNDING to NGOs and OTHERS, we are now focused on helping the poor who are interested to help themselves! We believe that by helping and giving  the poor the opportunity to stand up and take the responsibility of providing for their own needs, so that they will have self dignity and can contribute to the community in helping break the cycle of poverty!  

Sustainability and Responsibility can make a great impact to the many individuals from different communities.  Providing Micro Loans to deserving individuals can promote Sustainability and Responsibility, the funds utilized in the program upon return can be used by other clients willing to take responsibility of helping themselves.

Each year employees from many American Companies, the Federal Government and States are given the opportunity to give and support agencies who are qualified to participate in the yearly campaigns. These agencies are required to pass certain requirements and standards. We are proud to have been the very first Filipino-American agency to quality and participate in the United Way, Combined Federal Campaign and many State Campaigns for more than 20 years! 

THROUGH THE UNITED WAY: 

If you work for a private company doing a United Way or a Company Workplace Giving Campaign please look for our name and designation number. In the event that we are not listed among the selected list of your employers brochure please  look for our Name and Designation Number (Philippine Empowerment for the Poor) write it down our name and telephone number on you pledge card.
