Help us build better lives and stronger communities.
We are composed of ordinary people who want to make a difference. Our passion is to support the needs of the poor. To give them the opportunity to stand on their own feet, for the poor to be an important member of the community. We want to empower the poor, to build better lives and stronger communities !

Originally founded in 1991 under the name Philippine Children's Fund of America as a nonprofit organization, after the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo to help provide assistance to many children fathered by American soldiers in Angeles City and Subic. However, our programs and services were soon made available to other people affected by the very many years of unfortunate effect of the biggest volcanic eruption in the world. Seeing a need to address other issues in education, nutrition for children and even economic programs for the community we partnered with more than fifty (50) hardworking and dedicated NGOs helping poor Filipinos in all parts of the Philippines. In addition, we set up a shelter in Sacramento, CA for the many American Youth flown from the Philippines who cant come to the USA because of financial requirements and a home to stay!
Today, our programs are dedicated to working with non-profit organizatons providing loans for the poor to help them stand on their feet, enabling them to provide for their family's needs. We beileve that by helping many individuals help themselves, will lessen the number of people depending on DOLEOUTS.
During the Philippines covid-19 crisis we took the challenge to produce a minimum of 10,000 masks to be given to the poor to help protect them from virus infections, while providing home-based jobs for many poor mothers during the lockdown.

OUR MISSION
Our MISSION is to work hand in hand and set up collaborations with selected agencies in the Philippines, with great successful operations in providing small loans to the needy to fund small businesses .
OUR VSISION
Our VISSION is to empower the poor to help provide for their own needs without depending on the government and others. We want the poor to have economic freedom and decide on issues affecting them without having to be under the mercy of politicians. We want the poor to be counted as valuable members of the community and for the poor to generate employment for other people in order to build better lives and stronger communities.
To focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community, by providing the poor the momentum that helps us affect change!
In response of the very alarming number of people that are being diagnosed with COVID-19 in the Philippines, expected to be a very serious calamity because of the lack of health materials to help protect the big population of poor people, we are partnering with the Paradise Ranch in Clark to produce initial 10 to 20 thousand homemade mask made from bedsheets / lines and even curtains.
Paradise Ranch volunteered to donate ALL its new and used supplies in the absence of textile to buy from the market. The face masks will not only help thousands of people from the many Barangays that are now calling and asking for these free masks, but will also open job opportunities to many individuals who can sew these at their homes during the lockdown.
….“Our stock shelves are now empty and our beds and windows are cleared off bedsheets and curtains, things don’t look good but providing 10 to 20 thousand mask to the needy to help save lives is great and that's what matters to us now”…. says a Paradise senior staff.

Together We Can Fight COVID-19 and Help Save Lives!
TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE 15-DAY PAUSE TO SLOW THE SPREAD
OF COVID-19
Considerations for state and local community leaders
While every community is unique and experiencing varying levels of community transmission, the 15-day pause recommended by the White House presents the entire country with an opportunity to assess how prepared we are and take steps to implement actions designed to slow and limit the spread of COVID-19. We understand that the pause may last longer than 15 days.
At some point, the recommended actions will change. Community leaders must come together to facilitate services and businesses re-opening in an orderly way. The resumption of activities needs planning so that it does not negatively affect ongoing mitigation efforts in local areas or the country as a whole.
